Summary: At first, you might think that a film with hyper intelligent insects can only result in humanity facing its greatest threat. But worry not, because these bugs don't light things on fire or build malevolent architecture. No, they just speak obnoxiously and sing hyper-aggravating songs.

History: For eons, the roaches of the world have been waiting for the time where they take over the Earth. But for now, they have to make due with humanity stinking up the joint. Still, our garbage and ignorance make for some decent digs. A particularly large society of roaches, led by the energetic Ralph, live in a derelict apartment located in the more sketch parts of New York. When Iowa loser Joe F. Grotowski moves in, they find that his slobby way of life is a pretty good deal. If they don't drive him crazy first.

Final Fate: After their antics get Joe nearly killed and the apartment blown up, Ralph and company realize that they've been acting like asses and decide to make it up to him by repairing Joe's love's garden, landing him a more decent home, and living the sweet life, knowing that one day mankind will drop the Great H-Bomb and leave the Earth to them.

Powers/Abilities: The roaches can synchronize so that they form a large mass, usually for sending messages or warding off people.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-If you have a problem with roaches, then this film is your worst nightmare. To us, these guys are hardly creepy. They're just really annoying. Considerate and fun-loving yes, but still annoying.

Trivia: -This was the first film to be made by MTV Films, and a major stepping stone for the rise of Blue Sky Studios.

-Reportedly, over 5,000 actual cockroaches were used for this film. Ralph was voiced by voice acting legend, Billy West.
